Terms and Conditions
By making a booking, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and fully accept our terms and conditions as detailed below:
Bookings:
When time allows before the first session, we will send you confirmation of your booking. This will confirm payment, start date, and give other information pertinent to your booking.
It is the client’s responsibility to ensure they attend on the correct date, time and place for the session according to the tutor’s instructions.
Booking confirms your attendance for the duration of services. Please make every effort to attend. If you are unable to attend, please let your trainer know as soon as possible.
Fees and Prices:
The full booking fee for any service must be paid in advance of the booking by bank transfer. Failure to pay in a timely fashion may result in your booking being given to another client.
Price advertised at time of booking applies.
Attendance:
To make the most of our services and achieve optimal results, many short daily training sessions at home are favorable to allow you and your dog to practise the techniques and lessons prior to the next session.
Occasionally, we may find that our services does not suit a dog or owner. Full discussion concerning the best way to proceed will be undertaken and this may result in us making alternative arrangements to assist you or making a referral onto our colleagues.
We make every effort to ensure safety of both clients and dogs during the sessions. By making a booking, you are accepting that participating in an activity with dogs, children and adults poses a risk of injury to yourself and your dog, and you agree to indemnify Woofing Wild for all personal injury and damage to property owned by you while attending the training classes. You also agree to make any person who accompanies you to the session aware that they are also there at their own risk.
The participant is responsible for the full cost of treatment of any injuries or illness that their dog receives while under the care of Woofing Wild, together with any associated costs e.g. call-out charges. The Client authorises the staff of Woofing Wild to seek such veterinary advice and/or treatment as they deem necessary; where possible this will be carried out by the Client’s usual/preferred Vet, but this cannot be guaranteed (e.g. in an emergency) and the Client accepts that the staff of Woofing Wild may at their discretion use any registered Vet. The Client agrees to pay all such costs immediately upon pick-up of their dog, or by agreement with the proprietor.
The Participant agrees that, in admitting their dog, Woofing Wild has relied on the Client’s representation that their dog is in good health and has not harmed or shown aggression or threatening behaviour toward any person or any other dog (unless previously been discussed).
The participant is solely responsible for any and all harm or damage caused by their dog while it is under the care of Woofing Wild, or is using any other services provided by Woofing Wild, and agrees to indemnify Woofing Wild in full against any liability arising from such harm or damage to third parties.
The participant agrees that Woofing Wild is not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged leads, collars, clothing or any other item left with their dog.
Woofing Wild method of training relies heavily on rewards with food treats. Although we will have some treats available at the class, it is important to bring with you a supply of tasty, smelly food treats that your puppy will work hard for and is used to eating (please see Reward-based Training for further information).
Training session/ Premises Rules:
All dog must remain on lead and kept away from contact with other dogs within the premises unless specifically instructed by the trainer.
All instances of accident or injury must be reported to the trainer at the time they occurred.
Flexi leads are not permitted in sessions to avoid injury to others.
Head collars are not permitted in session to avoid injury to the puppy’s neck and to avoid distraction during training. (unless discussed previously).
All animal excrement must be cleared and disposed off in available bins.
The following items are NOT PERMITTED in Woofing Wild session under any circumstances: choker chains and/or check chains of any description; electronic training collars including citronella; any other device that causes discomfort, pain or fear to the dog; prong or pinch collars; any equipment that the trainer deems unacceptable.
The use of physical force and punishment-based training techniques are not permitted in Woofing Wild classes.
All people must be respectful to the environment, land, workers and livestock on land. All dogs must be kept under control at all times around livestock on site! No meet and greets between livestock and dogs are permitted.
Woofing Wild promises to not fear or hurt your dog in the name of training.
All training advice given is given with integrity and knowledge in the belief that it will benefit the dog in question. However Woofing Wild cannot promise results dependent on dog and circumstances some sessions may result in discussion in other options more suitable for the family and dog.
Woofing Wild makes all assessments of dogs based on behaviour seen during initial consult and by law must communicate concerns if risk of harm to family or general public.
Woofing Wild cannot promise the outcome of training is always within the clients expectation, as Woofing Wild understands that every circumstance is different.
Digital Materials, Video Footage and Recordings:
All Woofing Wild online videos are the intellectual property of Woofing Wild and are not to be recorded or reproduced in any way. It is not appropriate to film trainers, other attendees, their families or their puppies either in classes In light of this, all filming is prohibited.
In sending any digital materials i.e. photographic images and/or videos to your trainer, you give permission for Woofing Wild to use these materials for teaching and marketing purposes.
The Client consents to their dog being photographed, videotaped, and/or used in any media or advertising by Woofing Wild without prior approval. All such media remain the property of Woofing Wild.
Refunds:
Refunds are subject to discussion. Because we operate with our sessions on a very restricted time schedule, refunds may not be given for any cancellations unless the place can be filled by another client or unless at least 72 HOURS NOTICE is given. There are no exceptions. Failure to notify us of a cancellation within this time frame will result in no refund.
Woofing Wild will keep 50% of remaining fee for cancelled services 20% for admin and 30% for loss of profit.
There will be no partial refunds for missed sessions unless they can be rescheduled. All other cancellation and refund requests are at the discretion of the trainer and dependent on individual circumstances.
Please note that all packages and or classes are NON-REFUNDABLE due bulk booking.
All packages brought must be used within 1 year of purchase.
